For the moment it’s all extremely vague: the Finnish author and game director used the now well-known big eyes emoticon in response to the message in which Geoff Keighley reminds us that there are now only three weeks left until Summer Game Fest 2024.
However, we know for sure that Alan Wake 2 will receive two paid expansions, as well as a series of free DLC, and Remedy Entertainment has not yet officially presented these contents.
The stage of the Summer Game Fest 2024 therefore stands as the best place for announce expansions of the extraordinary survival horror, which we imagine will debut this year.
A phenomenal sequel
Welcomed by the international press with excellent ratings, Alan Wake 2 has certainly met the expectations of those who have been waiting for years the return of the cursed writerimprisoned in a “dark place” after his misadventures in Bright Falls.
As we wrote in the review of Alan Wake 2, Sam Lake and his colleagues did an extraordinary work also and above all on a narrative leveland it will therefore be interesting to return to immerse yourself in that world during the expansions.
