The theft of the minor, which is now known, is identified as Kelly Anahí Salazar Balderas, a 2-year-old girl, It occurred in the mayor’s office of Tlalpan, in Mexico City (CDMX).
In the images you can see a woman, identified as the girl’s maternal grandmother, wearing a green garment, who is holding the girl in front of her and very close to the door.
From one moment to the next, on the cameras you can see the moment in which the lady opens the gate with black bars and a subject takes away the minor, who is presumed to be wearing a white garment.
Although the adult woman runs in search of help, looking bewildered, it is known that she did not get it right away, and CDMX authorities issued an Amber Alert in search of the minor.
What did the CDMX Prosecutor’s Office say?
Hours after the moment in which a minor was robbed in the vicinity of her home, and who was held in the arms of her grandmother, it was reported that had already been located.
The authorities at the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX), in particular, the local Public Ministry shared on its X account that the version of the kidnapping was false, and clarified what happened:
“The version that emerged from the dissemination of a video on social networks, about her supposedly being kidnapped or deprived of her liberty, IS FALSE”. He also indicated that the abduction of the minor arose from a family controversy, which led to the issuance of an Amber Alert.
“The CDMX Prosecutor’s Office carries out all the necessary procedures in relation to their guard and custody, in order to privilege the best interests of the child,” the autonomous body wrote.
