Ubisoft he published his financial report relating to the fiscal year 2023 – 2024, from which revenues of 2.3 billion euros emerge. The figure is 33% better than the previous year, with the company declaring that it has achieved its objectives.
The series was the driving force behind the company’s results Assassin’s Creed and Rainbow Six. Furthermore, the 200 million euro cost reduction plan, which will end by fiscal year 2026, appears to be going as planned.
As already reported, the company wants to focus on two pillars: the creation of adventure games open world and model games live service. According to CEO Yves Guillemot, this year the first step was taken to get Ubisoft “back on the right path”. The company will continue to invest in its internal technologies to remain competitive and stimulate recurring purchases in its titles.
The report also revealed the dismissal by 1,700 people between September 2022 and March 2024, with a reduction in the total number of employees to 19,011 as of March 31, 2024. Frédérick Duguet, CFO of Ubisoft, said: “While there is still work to be done in the coming years, we are on track path to return to cash flow in fiscal 2025 and achieve our annual cost reduction target of €200 million by fiscal 2026.”
