There are no plans for any changes in the General Staff of the Armed Forces (AF) of Russia. This was stated by the President of the country Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the commanders of military districts, reported in Telegram– Kremlin channel.
According to the head of state, there are also no changes to the “structure that ensures combat work.” “We have developed a block of combat work. It functions rhythmically, operates successfully, and no changes are expected here,” Putin said.
The meeting was also attended by the new Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and his predecessor Sergei Shoigu, whom the president thanked for “the work to build the armed forces and give them a new look.”
