Former football player Pavel Mamaev said that without swearing he becomes cleaner and wiser
Former Russian national team footballer Pavel Mamaev spoke about his life principles. His words are conveyed “Championship”.
Mamaev stated that he refused to swear. “Only in very rare cases – sometimes it crashes, but there is no swearing in my speech. Maybe only one percent. And I think that’s right. Although I used to swear and didn’t pay attention to it,” he shared.
According to Mamaev, without swearing he becomes cleaner and wiser. “There was a period when I went slightly in the wrong direction due to an excess of permissiveness and money, but I had to go through all this in order to realize it,” concluded the ex-footballer.
Mamaev, who retired in February 2023, is known for his performances for Torpedo, Rostov, Krasnodar, Khimki and CSKA, with whom he became the champion of Russia and won the National Cup three times. From 2010 to 2016, the athlete also played 15 matches for the Russian national team.
In 2018, Mamaev, together with football player Alexander Kokorin and his younger brother Kirill, staged two fights in the center of Moscow. As a result, the athletes were convicted and spent almost a year in prison.
