The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, announced this Thursday, the 9th, a series of aid measures for Rio Grande do Sul with a total value of R$50.9 billion. The actions will serve the State, municipalities, companies, rural producers, salaried workers and beneficiaries of social programs.
Among the measures for formal workers, the government will bring forward the salary bonus schedule for around 705 thousand people, with an expected impact of R$758 million and will prioritize the payment of a potential 1.6 million Income Tax refunds for State declarants , with a total value of R$1 billion.
In addition, the Executive will provide two additional installments of unemployment insurance for 140,000 unemployed workers, worth R$495 million.
In five measures aimed at companies, the government intends to grant credit guarantees to micro and small companies under Pronampe with an initial contribution of R$4.5 billion and a potential leverage of R$30 billion.
Haddad highlighted that the measures for Rio Grande do Sul will not have an impact on programs and projects in the rest of the country, since Congress approved a calamity decree for the State that separates the resources allocated to the State from the fiscal result.
