Millionaires needed to win. It was his only goal, his only possibility. The three points were drawn in the mind of each blue player, but no. Good intentions cannot achieve results. The victory against Bolívar was a mirage and in the end it was a very, very bitter 1-1 draw for the blue team.

Millonarios had, could have, should have won, but once again they wasted their best opportunities. Goalkeeper Lampe was a figure, he did everything, some stellar saves to close his goal again and again.
In addition, a series of injuries, as usual, undermined the ambassador team’s performance and plan. The first to leave was the scorer, Leonardo Castro, with a shoulder problem, at 39 minutes. Castro, in the time he was on the field, barely had a shot on a gift from the goalkeeper, but he finished very smoothly and easily, as if it were not the striker Castro.
However, Millonarios was excited because they started winning. It was a short corner kick. The center is from Daniel Ruiz to the far post, there was the recently introduced Giordana to score a violent header. The ball went to the crossbar, after Lampe touched it lightly, but on the rebound it fell very close to Andrés Llinás, who as if he were a seasoned attacker turned around and with some effort finished to put the ball into the goal.
There was blue illusion, there was hope. They had the advantage and it was about securing it so as not to suffer. At the start of the second half, Rivaldo was able to do the task and accomplish the mission, but he defined poorly when he found himself alone in front of the goalkeeper, to Gamero’s despair.
The silence that spread in the stands was noticeable. What could be said? The grief and anger are contained like this, meaning nothing.
And with all that, Millonarios still had one more, the goal was scored by Giordana with another header and it is not known how goalkeeper Lampe got to that ball.
Goalkeeper Lampe would still have more work to do, such as a spectacular save with a great flight to the post. On the rebound Giordana made an individual play and when he cleared the way and the fans were already shouting for a miracle, he scored outside.

br/>On the other side there would also be drama, because Bolívar almost took the three points in an almost own goal by Llinas, Montero saved with a hand, and on the rebound Montero saved again.
That was it, enough adrenaline for the fans who lived the game with a lot of anguish. What remains of so much suffering is the discomfort, because Millonarios tied at home and was left with one foot in the abyss of elimination, with just two points, at the bottom of the group and with two games pending.
