In Ukraine, border guards detained men trying to swim through the Tisza to Hungary
In Ukraine, border guards detained seven men trying to sail from the country to Hungary. This was reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Facebook. (social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and is banned).
The draft dodgers wanted to get to Hungary by inflatable boat, crossing the Tisza River. However, border guards noticed the men even before they pumped up the watercraft. Then the citizens abandoned the boat and ran into the water.
“We managed to catch up with the fugitives 20 meters before the state border. The men had already plunged into the water and realized that they would not be able to cross the river. With the help of border guards, the would-be fugitives were able to get ashore,” the regional department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.

The detained Ukrainians said that they agreed to cross the state border on social networks. For this they had to pay the organizers from 6 to 7.5 thousand dollars (approximately from 550 to 685 thousand rubles – approx. “Tapes.ru”). Administrative protocols were drawn up against the draft dodgers.
Earlier it became known about the first Ukrainian who swam across the Dnieper to Belarus. The man used a mattress to cross the river.
