“This is Furukawa, president of Nintendo. We will make an announcement about the successor to the Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year. It’s been over nine years since we announced the existence of the Nintendo Switch in March 2015. This June we’ll be holding a Nintendo Direct regarding the Nintendo Switch software lineup for the second half of 2024, but please note that there won’t be any mention of the successor to Nintendo Switch during that presentation.”
