The semi-finals of the Strong Hand League today, Tuesday, will witness two return matches to determine the two sides of the final match for the league title. Maliha will meet Sharjah in the Maliha Club Hall, while Al Ain will host its rival, Shabab Al Ahly, in the Violet Hall. The first round had ended with Sharjah’s victory over Maliha 35-22. While Shabab Al-Ahly defeated Al-Ain 30-25, the two winners qualify for the final match next Saturday, and the two losers qualify for third place on the same day, and the final will be held in a neutral hall.
In the event of a tie between the two teams in the two-match group, which is for each team to win a match, there will be a deciding match between them to determine the team advancing to the final match, and the loser will play for third place.
At the level of centers from fifth to eighth, next Friday, Al-Jazira and Dibba Al-Hisn will meet for fifth place in the Al-Jazira and Al-Nasr Club Hall, with Al-Wasl for seventh place in the Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall in Al-Nasr Club.
At the end of the league season, the curtain will fall on its current system and it will return, starting next season, with its old system, in a home-and-return format of two rounds, following the recent decision of the Federation’s General Assembly following the proposal submitted by the Sharjah Club, which was approved by the majority.
