An unexpected protagonist of a robbery at the airport Belgrade turned out to be the judge Matej Boltauser, who have become one of the best Thursdays of the Euroleague.
What is known is that Boltauser was caught stealing at the air terminal after a video that went viral in recent days and that corresponds to December 2023.
He did it when he went to referee the match between Partizan and Monaco, so the judge was detained for that small problem before boarding the plane.

The first information indicates that Boltauser took a bottle of Tom Ford, a perfume that costs 221 euros, at the Duty Free at Belgrade airport after returning home, after directing the aforementioned meeting.
The Slovenian admitted the robbery and acknowledged his bad actions after being arrested. The first information appeared in the Serbian newspaper Republika, which said it had contacted the referee,” Marca said.
“I don't know anything about that. “I’m sorry, I can’t talk,” he replied when asked. “The media said it had sent him the video with the images but did not receive a response,” said the Spanish media.
Boltauzer is 49 years old and is one of the most prominent referees in the Euroleague, a competition in which he has been directing since 2003.
“In fact, their last match was the controversial first Playoff match between Panathinaikos – Maccabi, which registered complaints from the Greek team,” the sports newspaper reported. That has even led to ridicule.
