Her father Bernardo Rodríguez played professional soccer (he played for Deportivo Cali, Bucaramanga, Huila and Medellín) and runs a soccer school called Toritos, where he took his daughter as company. But one day, Gabrielita got bored, she went onto the field and started playing, and that's where her story with the ball began.
