We, in truth, what we urge is not to carry out illegal acts, that is what we do, and to take care of the civilian population and not allow ourselves to be intimidated by anyone, they must understand that violence cannot be confronted with violence. “, declared President Andrés Manuel López Obrador during the 'La Mañanera' press conference.
These statements were given by AMLO when questioned about whether the Ministry of the Interior (Segob) tries to dialogue with organized crime.
The president added that the National Guard has been deployed in the southern part of the country.
Despite admitting dialogue with criminals, He denied having complicity with any criminal group.
