Critic Rudchenko: the new Gluk'oZa will not be able to beat SHAMAN in popularity
Music critic Pavel Rudchenko assessed the relaunch of the musical project Glyuk'oZa under the leadership of producer Maxim Fadeev. His words are quoted by the publication “Paragraph”.
Rudchenko noted that the recognizable style of the project has been preserved with the new performer. At the same time, Fadeev decided to turn to patriotic lyrics in Glyuk’oZa’s debut track “Mice.” “I would like to note that Fadeev introduced ethnic notes into the song – they became a new move for this project. They emphasize the patriotic lyrics of the composition. I think this is due to the trend of growing interest in folk sounds,” said Rudchenko.
At the same time, the critic said that the new project is not comparable with the work of other patriotic performers, in particular, SHAMAN (real name – Yaroslav Dronov), whom Glyuk'oZa cannot beat in popularity. Rudchenko called the reason for this the “unmodern sound” of Glyuk'oZa.
Previously, Fadeev announced the relaunch of the musical project Gluk'oZa without singer Natalya Chistyakova-Ionova after her participation in the “naked party” of blogger Anastasia Ivleeva. The artist, in turn, refused to give her stage name to the producer.
