The president of Chile, Gabriel Boric, revealed this Tuesday, within the framework of an event for International Book and Copyright Day, that When he leaves the Presidency he wants to write a book of fiction literature, but that he would publish it under a pseudonym.

He added that before writing about politics he had started “a crime novel of vagabond detectives,” but he said that this story had no continuity because “he lost the notebook” and never returned to it.
Boric, a voracious reader and lover of literature and poetry, as he has publicly acknowledged on several occasions, began writing his own texts during his adolescence.
“Sometimes I upload a poem to my social networks, for example, and there are people who tell me 'you're already reading poems, why don't you work better', as if they were incompatible. I tell them that cultivating the soul and spirit is also an essential part of being people,” she expressed during the event with the young people.

Before concluding his speech, the president, who just a year ago launched the National Policy on Reading, Books and Libraries, insisted that culture “is essential for life”, although “there are those who think that it is something secondary ”.
“Reading will make you free; “Read, write, let's lose the fear of putting down the pencil,” she concluded.
