From 25 to 28 April the Mostra D'Oltremare in Naples will host the XXIV edition of COMICON, one of the most anticipated events of the spring by all fans of manga and pop culture! J-POP Manga is participating again this year with an exceptional international guest: sensei Seira Minami, creator of the characters of The Rising of The Shield Hero, for the first time in Italy with the collaboration of Crunchyroll J-POP Manga, present at the event in Pavilion 10 Asian Village, also inaugurates the new J-POP Manga Niwa space at the Giardino dei Cedri. An outdoor space to experience our passion together with readers and which will therefore host special activities, events, and a J POP Party! On the occasion of the presence of Sensei Seira Minami at the fair, a splendid Anime Variant of the first volume of the manga The Rising of the Shield Hero will be available and an exclusive shikishi, designed and signed directly by the teacher Minami, which will be given free with the purchase of a volume of the Shield Hero saga!
Thanks to the collaboration between J-POP, Crunchyroll & FunSide the surprises begin already after the main entrance of Comicon! The first sailing structure on Via delle 28 Fontane will, in fact, host the Shield Hero Temporary Café where COMICON visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the world of The Rising of the Shield Hero with a dedicated Photo Opportunity. And not only! It will also be possible to discover and rediscover Momo-kuren's successful work The Summer Hikaru Died thanks to a small dedicated exhibition and recover all the J-POP news available at COMICON at the manga & gadget sales point curated by Funside.
The publishing house begins its celebrations for its 18 years of activity at Comicon Napoli with a special event to retrace together the titles that have made the history of the publishing house.
As for news, the first two volumes of the new K-pop themed manga series Girl Crush by Midori Tayama are making their debut at COMICON! And precisely to celebrate this news, J-POP will be the official partner of the K-pop Dance Fight Fest national finals, the K-pop contest organized by COMICON in partnership with K-ble Jungle which will be held during the days of the event. The publishing house is also presenting at the fair the first volume of the romance series Tales of Reincarnation in Maydare by Midori Yuma, Nana Natsunishi and Esora Amaichi as well as the new unmissable Korean title, set in the dangerous, yet exciting, world of organized crime: Wet Sand by Doyak . It will be possible to browse Doyak's long-awaited manhwa during an exclusive Reading Party organized by J-POP Manga in the Manga Niwa inside the Cedar Garden!
The long-awaited variant cover of the first volume of The Summer Hikaru Died will also be available on the stand, as well as the edition of the fourth volume with the exclusive holographic postcard limited to the first print run; the deluxe edition of Frieren – Beyond the end of the journey 12 with the attached hardback volume Fanfare for Frieren which contains the story that inspired the opening of the anime enriched by unpublished illustrations and many other new features!
