The Monterrey Soccer Club will face the current Major League Soccer champion, Columbus Crew in the semifinals of the Concacaf Champions Cup 2024 and they will do so by remaining undefeated against North American clubs in elimination rounds.
The Sultana del Norte team has only lost two of 25 official matches against clubs from the United States, however, those defeats did not mean being left out of a direct elimination series.
Seattle Sounders (2012) and Atlanta United (2019) defeated Rayados in the Concachampionsthe first in the group stage and the second in the quarterfinals, but the overall score was in favor of the Mexican club.
