Rare proves once again to be a very particular software house, with the announcement of the construction of one new structure called Barn X and a solar farm connected, to increase the environmental sustainability of the studio.
Rare's offices are located in a large, modern facility at Manor Parka particularly green area, surrounded by trees and with various vegetation, including several lawns, and is land that the company completely owns.
Up until now there were four structures within this area: A, B, C and D, but recently another has been added to these, which someone had already identified by looking at Google maps, although it had not been announced from Rare.
The new facility is called Barn X, and it's a new office that team leader Craig Duncan calls “the workplace of the future“.

Inside this the spaces are conceived in a very modern way and the entire structure is designed to be environmentally sustainable, with an eye to ecology and energy efficiency. For this reason, a short distance away within the same territory, Rare has also built a solar farm with a total of 750 square meters of solar panels, capable of supporting a large part of the energy consumption of the offices.
In addition to this, other water and heating management elements contribute to maintaining the lowest possible impact on the ecological front, as well as considerable attention to the comfort of the internal spaces for employees.
