Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga it is a highly anticipated film and will allow you to return to the world of Mad Max with a new point of view. The film took a long time to produce, as we know, but now we discover that one scene in particular – lasting just 15 minutes – took a lot more effort and time than we would normally expect.
As producer Doug Mitchell explained in a recent interview with Total Film, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga includes “a 15-minute sequence that it took us 78 days to shoot“. The whole thing was so complex and painful that the crew nicknamed it “Stairway To Nowhere” on set.
“George and I used to have great conversations about why this particular sequence was so long” Taylor-Joy revealed. “It's because you see an accumulation of skills over the course of a battle, and that's very important to understand how resourceful Furiosa is, but [per vedere] also his determination. It's the longest sequence we've ever shot. The day we finished, everyone toasted with wine.”
