Serena Bortone's complaint: “Antonio Scurati's monologue deleted”
Antonio Scurati's monologue on April 25th would have been censored: the presenter of the program that was supposed to host it reported the incident and spoke of canceling the speech without a real reason.
The presenter in question is Serena Bortone, at the helm of the Rai 3 broadcast What will bebroadcast during the weekend in the pre-evening slot.
Precisely in this evening's episode, at least until yesterday, the writer Antonio Scurati was scheduled as a guest who was supposed to propose a monologue on the occasion of Liberation Day which falls in a few days. For reasons that were not clarified, however, his speech was cancelled.
“As you will have read in the press release, in this evening's episode of What will be a monologue by Antonio Scurati was scheduled for April 25th – writes Serena Bortone in hers profile Instagram – I learned last night, with dismay, and by pure chance, that Scurati's contract had been cancelled. I couldn't get any plausible explanations. But first of all I owe it to Scurati, with whom I obviously just spoke on the phone, and to you viewers, the explanation of why they won't see the writer on air on my program on Raitre tonight. The problem is that I couldn't get this explanation either.”
