The 24th edition of Comicon Napoli is preparing to transform the Mostra d'Oltremare once again into an incredible catalyst for all the numerous fans of comics and pop culture in general. The 2023 edition recorded a record attendance with more than 170,000 visitors. This year, from April 25th to 28th, thousands of visitors will meet in this celebration of comics, games, and much more, with the newly founded publishing house Gigaciao, (founded by the artists Sio, Dado, Fraffrog and Giacomo Bevilacqua), as special guest ready to amaze adults and children.
The event program promises days full of activities. Among the highlights, the presentation of Sio's new comic-game, “Johnnyfer Jaypegg and the treasure of colorful edible aliens”, scheduled for Thursday 25 April in the Andrea Pazienza Room, stands out. This innovative crossroads comic with over 40 possible endings offers a one-of-a-kind adventure, characterized by the unmistakable irony of the cartoonist.
Saturday afternoon will be the time for big announcements: in the Sala Italia, Gigaciao fans will have the opportunity to participate in the Giga Spoiler, an exclusive event where the publishing house's next releases will be revealed in preview.
The Powerpizza Podcast, the popular show by Sio, Lorro and Nik, which entertains listeners every week with discussions on films, video games and TV series, will take place live on Sunday 28 April, bringing a breath of joy and live entertainment to the Comicon audience .
For collectors and comic book lovers, the Gigaciao stand will offer the opportunity to meet the authors for copy-signing sessions and purchase the latest publications, among which “What do I do when I grow up?” stands out. by Fraffrog and “Evviva che Bello” by Sio, as well as numerous exclusive gadgets.
In addition, those who purchase at least one volume at the Gigaciao stand will receive the Giga Spoiler for free, a special volume available only during Comicon Naples, which anticipates future publications from the publishing house.
