Rakova: Moscow schoolchildren won 99 diplomas at the Olympiad in Informatics
Moscow schoolchildren won a record number of diplomas at the All-Russian Olympiad in Informatics. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.
“Our students became the absolute winners of the All-Russian Olympiad in Informatics,” announced the deputy mayor. — This year, more than 350 schoolchildren from all over Russia competed for victory. In total, our team has 99 diplomas: 20 winners, 79 prize-winners. These results were a record for metropolitan schoolchildren over all the years of the Olympiad. The guys are great!”
The highest number of points in their parallel were scored by Vladislav Zhiganov from the school of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, Daria Grekova from school No. 57, Ivan Piskarev from school No. 2086 and Gleb Ustimenko from school No. 179. The jury also noted Moscow schoolchildren for the fastest solution of problems and the best results among girls.
The final took place at Innopolis University in Tatarstan. Over two rounds, participants solved eight problems. The system checked their work automatically, and the progress of the Olympiad could be monitored in real time.
The Moscow computer science team was trained at the Center for Pedagogical Excellence. There, schoolchildren attended specialized seminars, and before the finals, coaches held intensive training camps.
The Social Complex notes that Moscow schoolchildren who are interested in computer science and programming choose to study in pre-professional IT and engineering classes. They can also participate in city and school clubs. Examples of Olympiad tasks are included in the lesson programs, which allows you to integrate preparation for competitions and the development of students in this area into the educational process.
