'The 40 principals' arrive for the first time at the Caravaca de la Cruz Festival, with a festival that will feature some of the most prominent DJs of the moment, emblems of the country's leading music network. This is one of the City Council's big bets, through its Department of Celebrations, to liven up the nights of the 2024 patron saint festivities, after the end of the official events.
The festival 'Los 40 Sessions. Caravaca Festivals' will take place in the Plaza del Arco on May 4, once the Great Parade of Moors and Christians has finished. Those in charge of playing the best songs of yesterday and today will be: Dani Moreno 'El Gallo', who every morning performs 'Anda ya', the leading wake-up program on music radio with more than one and a half million listeners; Óscar Martínez, DJ with a long career both on the radio and in the main booths and festivals in the country and in charge of providing music to the most crowded events such as: 'Los 40 Music Awards' or 'Los 40 Primavera Pop', and Cristian San Bernardino, great DJ and entertainer, very popular for his fun and daring jokes on the program 'Anda ya'. The event will have a stage, with a special 'The 40' booth, lighting, special effects and LED screens. The event on day 4 will end in the municipal tent installed in the Recinto Festero (Paseo de San Clara), with DJ Andrés Honrubia.
The municipal musical program for the upcoming festivities does not end here, since on May 3, after the Solemn Procession of the Bath with the accompaniment of Moors and Christians, the popular orchestra 'La Tribu', one of the groups of most important versions and live shows in the country. They will present a new staging, with updated repertoire, playing music by artists and groups from the 90s to the present day. Next, it will be the turn of DJ Juanan Rodríguez.
The Municipal Tent will also be open the night of May 2 with DJ Rosee. In this same space, the Vera Cruz Festival Celebration Commission will offer Popular Rice, as well as different packages that will allow you to enjoy a grandstand, lunch and on-screen monitoring of the Wine Horse Race.
