Kylian Mbappé scored two goals, leading Paris Saint-Germain to the semi-finals of the Champions League, after a 4-1 victory over host Barcelona, in the second leg of the quarter-finals.
Paris Saint-Germain overturned a 3-2 deficit in the first leg, with a 6-4 victory on aggregate, allowing the French team to qualify for the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since the 2020-2021 season.
Although Barcelona took the lead just 12 minutes after the starting whistle through Brazilian Rafinha, Paris Saint-Germain took advantage of the expulsion of the home team's defender, Ronald Araujo, in an ideal way.
Ousmane Dembele was able to score the equalizer for Paris Saint-Germain five minutes before the end of the first half, before midfielder Vitina scored nine minutes after the end of the break.
Mbappe scored from a penalty kick in the 61st minute, before scoring with a direct shot from close range in the 89th minute, sealing Paris Saint-Germain's qualification.
Paris Saint-Germain will play against Germany's Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals, after the latter surpassed its Spanish rival, Atletico Madrid, 5-4 on aggregate in the two-legged matches.
