For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society, member of the Arab Federation for Space and Astronomy, Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, stated in a statement to “Emirates Today” that it is expected that the state of atmospheric instability will be strong due to the depression, and the country has not witnessed it at this time of the year since. Heavy rain in some areas, sometimes with thunderstorms and hail activity, and stormy winds, with the possibility of valleys and torrents flowing into and adjacent to the mountainous areas. Rainfall amounts may exceed 100 mm in some areas, and some places may record amounts of rain that have not been witnessed in more than 50 years.
Al-Jarwan expected that the situation would begin to weaken and spread starting Wednesday morning, but the chance of clouds and some rain falling in some areas would occur until Thursday evening.

Issuing an (alert) with details of the forecasts so that people can prepare themselves and the competent authorities prepare to confront the situation. The alert is renewed at least every 12 hours while following up on developments in the situation, and (24 hours) before the start of the situation, a (warning) is issued if necessary and procedures are taken. It must be implemented while following up on the development of the condition. The warning is renewed every 6 hours if the condition resumes the continuation of the warning condition. Then, a (statement of the end of the condition) is issued when the condition or its effects subside.
