Genshin Impact: miHoYo has entered the top 15 largest companies on the Unicorn Index

The Hurun Research Institute has published the sixth Global Unicorn Index of the year, which classifies private companies and startups worth at least $1 billion. One of the most notable additions is that miHoYothe developer among others of Genshin Impactbecame the highest-valued development studio on the list, making it into the top 15.

As explained by the institute, the study only takes into consideration companies founded in the years from 2000 onwards and not yet present on the stock exchanges.

miHoYo is valued at 23 billion dollars and is in twelfth position, immediately above Citadel Securities (22 billion) and Telegram (30 billion). Since 2023, miHoYo has risen ninety-one positions, starting from a valuation of $7.2 billion.

In first place we find ByteDance with 220 billion dollars and with a growth of 10% compared to the previous year. It's the company of TikTok. Followed by SpaceX ($180 billion), OpenAI ($100 billion), Ant Group ($80 billion) and Shein ($65 billion).
