Red Bull, apparent calm
In the last few weeks in Red Bull it was evidently signed some sort of truce, in which the protagonists of the power struggle within the team are avoiding any over the top declarations. The objective is obviously to win the 2024 world championship and in this sense the three doubles in four grand prix seem to have channeled the championship well.
Horner received the acquittal from the internal affair, but will also have to emerge unscathed from employee's company appeal who accuses her, as well as from complaint submitted to the FIA Compliance Department. The team principal has the total trust of Chalerm Yoovidhya, but it is not known what will happen in the coming months.
Newey doesn't move
In this scenario, with Horner firmly in the saddle and the Austrian side defeated, the possible farewells of Max Verstappen, Helmut Marko, Pierre Waché, but also Adrian Newey. Aston Martin and Ferrari swooped on the latter, but on the Suzuka weekend Christian Horner wanted to lock him down (after having done the same with Verstappen): “Adrian is an important and long-term part of our team. He is an element of the team. There will certainly always be interest from other teams in Adrian.”
