Eric Kripke, creator of the TV series of The Boysitself an adaptation of the graphic novel by Garth Ennis, announced the achievement of a fundamental goal in view of the release of Season 4which according to the author could be “the best seen so far“.

Kripke also reported that the season in question “might be the best one we've seen yet, I can't wait to unleash it on the world.” Obviously, the showrunner is promoting his creation, but considering the level reached by the TV series in question we have no reason not to give him credit.
A story that gets complicated
As we have seen, the release date of the new episodes of The Boys with Season 4 is set for June 13, 2024, so there isn't much time left to see how the story will develop again.
Among the new features of Season 4 is the introduction of the new super heroine Firecracker (played by Valorie Curry), who appears to be a trusted companion of Homelander, and therefore probably quite twisted in terms of psyche and behavior.
“The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the control of Homelander, who is consolidating his power,” we read in the official description of the season in question.
“Butcher, with just months to live, has lost Becca's son and his job as leader of the Boys. The rest of the team is fed up with his lies. With higher stakes than ever, they must find a way to work together and save the world before it's too late.”
