Istat, families are no longer able to save: minimum value since 1995
In 2023 the spending for final consumption grows of 6.5% and the propensity to Household savings decline to 6.3%, from 7.8% in 2022, reaching the lowest value since 1995, beginning of the accounting reference period. Istat notes this in a report.
The balance of redistributive interventions in 2023 he stole from families 118.8 billion euros, 16.5 billion more than the previous year. The taxes currents paid by families are increased by 24.6 billion euros (+10.7% compared to 2022) for the growth of Irpef (+10.2%) and income withholdings from capital and managed savings (+23%).
He notices it Istat in a report. For social contributions paid by families, overall grew by 10 billion euros (+3.3%)there was an increase in actual social contributions paid by self-employed workers (+7.3%, +2.9 billion euros) and a decrease in those paid by employees (-4.3% -2.2 billion EUR).
