Three trucks involved in a huge collision in Calenzano, on the A1: a 64-year-old man lost his life
Extremely serious accident during the night on the A1 motorway that connects Milan to Naples, at km 279, near Calenzano, in the province of Florence. Three heavy vehicles collided and one of the three truck drivers, a 64 year old man, unfortunately lost his life. The other two drivers were rescued and transported to hospital, but fortunately their lives are not in danger.

Two teams also arrived on site Fire fighters, from Florence and Calenzano, who were responsible for securing the entire area and managing the removal operations of the three vehicles. Inconveniences to traffic were inevitable, with queues lasting several kilometers that went on for several hours.
