Just in the 26th minute, the talented Dutch midfielder had to be replaced by Fermín López due to an ankle injury that could be serious according to the gestures shown by De Jong.

At the end of the first half, the Blaugrana team received another bad news: Pedri had to come off as a substitute due to what appears to be a muscle injury. Lamine Yamal took his place on the field.

Pedri looked devastated on the bench after leaving due to injury. So far it is not known how serious these injuries are and how long De Jong and Pedri will be out of action.
FC Barcelona seeks to defeat Athletic to place itself in second place in the LaLiga general table and be only six points behind Real Madrid with 11 games left until the championship ends.
