Helldivers 2 and Starship Troopers they will create a crossovers? The idea was born following some comments from the creative director of the PS5 and PC video game.
Johan Pilestedt, CEO of Arrowhead and creative director of Helldivers 2spoke with Casper Van Dien, the actor who played Rico in Starship Troopers, and they both agreed that a crossover would be great.
It all started when Pilestedt used an image of Starship Troopers to show the concept that the Helldivers 2 user interface manager developed for a possible tattoo dedicated to the game. At that point, she interacted with Van Dien who also suggested a film.

THE fans on Reddit took this interaction and ran wild, trying to imagine all the possible ways a crossover between the two games could take place in video games.
Others have discussed the possibility of creating a crossover film suggested by the actor, pointing out that Sony technically owns both Starship Troopers and Helldivers. While it's true that producing a film would require a lot of logistical work, it may not be entirely out of the question.
For now, though, it is too early to reach such conclusions. It's just a nice interaction on Twitter.
