For those who don't have it so much on their radar, there is a franchise called Age of Mythologywhich is derived from the popular Age of Empires of Microsoft, which has been quite loved despite being a spinoff, it even has fans who have been asking for the sequel for years. That brings us to an ad from a couple of years ago, in which we were shown Retold a remaster for those who wanted to return to the current era with the benefits that all this entails as improved models, but which still does not have a release date.
Today after some time of absence, more has finally been said about the project, explaining in a new video that the game will have some notable changes that fans will like, but above all with quality of life tricks so that the experience be more bearable for everyone. But what was liked most in the announcement was the confirmation of the game's release date, which will be at some point in 2024, a month has not been mentioned, much less the fixed day.
Here you can see it:
Here is the title description:
Enter the era of gods, heroes and monsters! “Age of Mythology: Retold” is a real-time strategy game in which myths and humans come into conflict. Protect your domains, command legendary monsters, and call upon the power of the gods to destroy your enemies.
Remember that Age of Mythology: Retold will only come to consoles Xbox and PC. Day one also on the platform Game Pass.
Editor's note: I'm not such a fan of these RTS, but it is a fact that the most fans of the original will be happy to return to the franchise with a remaster. This could lead to a sequel if the product sells well.
