The new Opel Astra Sports Tourer confirms itself as an excellent travel companion thanks to various solutions that allow you to customize the car and expand the possibilities for those who use it for longer journeys but also for those who use it on a daily basis. For example, as regards the charging phases, with the new Fulmine wagon in the electric version it uses an 11 kW three-phase on-board charger for fast AC charging via a wallbox. In the latter case, theeProWallbox, for example, is an intelligent and scalable solution, which optimizes vehicle charging with a power of up to 22 kW. The refueling process can be easily monitored using a number of functions accessible via smartphone.
Charging accessories
Among the original accessories for travel then, the charging cable Mode 3 and the universal charger with four adapters included in the kit: CEE-16 plug (three-phase) for industrial sockets (three-phase current), CEE-32 plug (single-phase), EF socket for domestic systems and type 2 plug for charging at public charging stations. Everything can be stored in the convenient bag supplied with the cable.
Maximum customization for the Opel Astra
Other available accessories include cup holder inserts, protective films and splash guards, all of which can be ordered from the German car manufacturer's dealers. Orders for the new Opel Astra Sport Tourer are already open, with turnkey prices starting from 25,500 euros in the thermal version and from 36,300 euros in the electrified one called Hybrid. The range also includes the Electric version, equipped with a 115 kW/156 HP engine and 270 Newton meters of maximum torque with a 54 kWh lithium ion battery, installed in the underbody to save space, which guarantees up to 413 kilometers in the WLTP cycle. The Opel Astra Sports Tourer Electric charges up to 80 percent in around 30 minutes at a 100 kW DC fast charging station.
