Cyber ​​scammers use the image of the cucuteño and use the benefits of artificial intelligence to recreate a fake video promoting an alleged project, all in order to scam people.

Social media users like Instagram, Facebook and X have denounced the new modus operandi of criminals to carry out cyber scams, simulating the image and voice of famous people.

“We created this project so that the people of Colombia can be happy and not need anything. Only one investment can change your life for the better and forget about all your financial problems,” says the fake video they are using on social networks.

In one of them, a news story from Noticias Caracol is simulated through artificial intelligence, in which the presenter Alejandra Murgas is seen, also with a simulated image, announcing a supposed project headed by Díaz to “help the people of Colombia.” ”.

Anyone who observes the images in detail will be able to notice that the voice does not coincide with the movement of Murgas' lips. However, the part in which Díaz is seen speaking could cause some confusion, since it starts from a real interview to which a simulated voice is later added.
