Gladkov: seven people were killed and 18 were injured in a missile attack on Belgorod
A missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Belgorod killed seven people and injured 18 more. The updated data was reported by the Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov in Telegram.
According to him, it became known about the death of an 80-year-old pensioner. The governor expressed his condolences to the woman's family.
In addition, another injured woman went to the hospital on her own, Gladkov said. Four wounded, including two children, were released for outpatient treatment.
The governor added that after a series of consultations, a decision was made to send two children and two adults to Moscow for treatment. “An eight-year-old boy has a hip fracture and shrapnel wounds to the face, a seven-year-old girl has a penetrating wound to the abdominal cavity, a concussion and a shrapnel wound to the hip, and both adults have limb injuries,” Gladkov wrote.
He emphasized that the remaining wounded remain under the control of doctors in hospitals in Belgorod.
According to unofficial data, the number of victims reached 25, but this information was not confirmed by the authorities.
Earlier, Gladkov said that the condition of six victims, who received mainly shrapnel wounds, was assessed as serious, and the condition of another nine was assessed as moderate.
