Although in recent hours the president of Sony PlayStation himself has reported that there are no major games from well-known series coming from PlayStation Studios at least until April 2025, the journalist Jeff Grubb seems not to be of the same opinion, having reported that some titles from well-known series are on the way and perhaps among these too Astro Bot.
According to what was reported by the volcanic journalist of VentureBeat, “there are other unannounced games from well-established intellectual properties”, apparently, arriving in the course of this year. Or at least this is what Grubb reports, although the information contradicts what was reported by Hiroki Totoki, president of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
In fact, we remember that Totoki stated that there are no plans for large-scale releases belonging to well-known series by PlayStation Studios for this fiscal year, but according to Grubb there is something that could come close to this definition.
Jeff Grubb denies the president of SIE?
It is not clear what it is: Totoki's statement is very specific and obviously leaves room for the release of other games, such as those belonging to new intellectual propertiesof which we actually expect a certain contribution in the coming months also thanks to the arrival of live services.
More specifically, for Jeff Grubb there could be a new Astro Bot arriving in the next few months, which could fall under the definition of a known series, even if it is actually probably not part of Sony's classic blockbusters.
At this point we just have to wait and see what could come out in the next few months, considering that at least Astro Bot, according to the journalist, would be arriving this year.
