Aircraft took off from Ohio and crashed in the city of Naples, Florida; 5 people were on board
A plane with 5 people crashed this Friday (Feb 9, 2024) on an interstate highway in Naples, in the State of Florida (USA). The small aircraft attempted to land on the highway and collided with a car that was on the runway. Two people died.
According to CNBC, the plane, which took off from the State of Ohio, reportedly suffered engine failure near Destin airport. The causes of the accident are being investigated by FAA (United States Federal Aviation Administration). The traffic was suspended on site for 24 hours.
