Sanremo, Rai denies the farmers: “No contact”
Rai sources “categorically” deny that there have been contacts with representatives of farmers' associations in view of their presence on the Ariston stage tomorrow evening.

The tractors ofAgricultural redemption” on the Sanremo stage tomorrow evening? The farmers themselves announced it with a note, in which they explained that they had accepted a proposal from the artistic director of the Festival Amadeus. “We will bring to the Festival our concerns, our fears and our efforts, to illustrate the many ideas and proposals of us young farmers, to continue to hope in the future of our agriculture and determined to continue the teachings of our parents and grandparents read in the message”.
“Only with living agriculture is there life, there is food security and sovereignty, there is respect for the environment, there is a future. If it stops agriculture everything collapses. We are also very determined to claim with pride and redemption the hope of not giving up and of making the institutions and citizens understand that, without the farmers there will never be food sovereignty that sets peoples free.”
The delegation of approximately 15 tractors will depart from the garrison of Melegnano this evening around 8pm and will reach Sanremo during the night. “Agricultural redemption”, to be represented, will focus on young people. “The representation, symbolized by the Italian flag, with which we ask to be able to go on stage at the Ariston theater and live, to briefly illustrate the reasons for the great mobilization of young Italian farmers, will be composed of Alessandra Oldoni, a young farmer from Bergamo, Giulia Goglioyoung farmer from Lodi, Andrea Pedrotti, young farmer from Brescia and Fabio Pizzaris, young farmer from Cagliari” conclude.
Sanremo, Salvini asks for clarification on the Rai-Trenitalia agreement
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Matteo Salvini learned “with great amazement” of the agreement between Rai, Rai Pubblicità and Trenitalia “for the promotion of the 74th Sanremo festival and the Frecciarossa railway service respectively”. MIT sources made this known. Given the commercial freedom to stipulate contracts, the same sources explain, “an agreement that has totally bypassed the Ministry despite the implications on rail circulation and the different treatment compared to other travelers is perplexing”.
