In Paipa (Boyacá) this Tuesday, February 6, the Tour Colombia 2024, the most important cycling race held in the country. National cycling stars like Egan Bernal, Nairo Quintana and Rigoberto Urán, and international, such as the Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz and the British Mark Cavendish will be part of the event, which will take place this week on roads of Boyacá and Cundinamarca.

The Tour Colombia has not been held for four years and in 2024 it will have 24 teams, three of them from the World Tour; It will have six stages and a total of 911 kilometers.
The Cundiboyacense plateau will be the scene of the race that will end next Sunday in the Bogotá National Park.
Also taking part will be such outstanding runners as Iván Ramiro Sosa, Esteban Chaves and the national road champion Alejandro Osorio.

First stage
Tuesday February 6: Paipa – Duitama, 155 kilometers
Route: Duitama – La Y – Tibasosa – Sogamoso – Nobsa – La Y – 4 laps – ends in Duitama.
Closing start time: 9:00 am
End closing time: 2:30 pm
Stage departure: Malecón Paipa 10:00 am
Arrival: Duitama central route
Second stage
Wednesday, February 7: Paipa -Santa Rosa de Viterbo, 169 kilometers
Route: Paipa – Tunja – Ventaquemada – return Tunja center – Paipa – Duitama – Santa Rosa de Viterbo.
Closing start time: 9:00 am
End closing time: 2:30 pm
Stage departure: Malecón Paipa 10:00 am
Arrival: Santa Rosa de Viterbo Main Park.

Thursday, February 8: Tunja-Tunja, 12.5 kilometers (nine laps)
Route: Tunja Circuit – Avenida Universitaria – Calle 79 – Vía Oriental – Glorieta Norte – Avenida Olímpica – Glorieta Gobernador – Glorieta San Luis return – Avenida Universitaria – Calle 59.
Closing start time: 8:30 am
End closing time: 1:30 am

Arrival: Av. Universitaria
Fourth stage
Friday, February 9: Paipa -Z ipaquirá, 181.8 kilometers
Route: Paipa – Tunja – Ventaquemada – Villapinzón – Chocontá – Gachancipa – Tocancipá – Chía – Cajica – Zipaquirá.

Saturday February 10: Cota-Alto del Vino, 138.3 kilometers.
