The incentives for endothermic, petrol and diesel but also hybrid and gas cars for 2024 have already ended. The car incentives for cars falling within the range with dioxide emissions between 61 and 135 g/km ended in less than two weeks , with 120 million euros being “burned” from 10 to 23 January. 60 thousand motorists will benefit, with a contribution of 2,000 euros. The race for the bonus had already begun in the first days of the year, with the first contracts signed while waiting for the ministerial portal to allow the request to be entered.
The incentives that remain
To date, therefore, only the bands from 21 to 60 g/km and from 0 to 20 remain available to customers, i.e. plug-in hybrids and electric ones. In fact, for their allocations, almost all of the funds made available have remained intact: for PHEVs there are still 242 of the 245 million available while for electric vehicles there are still 197 million of the 205 initially allocated. The ceiling for the 61-135 range should be refinanced by the new incentive package for the automotive world announced by the Minister of Business and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, with the measure which however has not yet entered into force and it is not clear when he does. The text provides for 283 million for hybrids, diesel, petrol and natural gas, however, in exchange for the scrapping of a car up to Euro 2 for the provision of a contribution of 3,000 euros.
