In the Urals, a mother was charged with burying her newborn in the snow
Investigators have brought charges against a resident of the Sverdlovsk region who buried her child in the snow immediately after giving birth. This was reported to Lente.ru by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR).
According to investigators, on December 20, a newborn was found at the woman’s summer cottage. He was noticed by the accused’s father-in-law, who came to visit, clarifies KP.RU. Later, the defendant stated that she hid her pregnancy, which is why she left the city to give birth alone in a bathhouse. She claims that she did not want to harm the baby and was going to write a refusal from him, but for some reason unknown to herself, she buried him in the snow immediately after birth. The boy was rescued and provided with the necessary assistance in the hospital.
Investigators continue to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier it was reported that in Moscow, security forces uncovered a child trafficking scheme.
