According to the leaker “@MbKKssTBhz5”, considered a rather reliable source regarding Atlus productions, having successfully anticipated the announcements of Metaphor: ReFantazio and Persona 3 Reload, reported that the company was planning to create one spin off of the first of the two titles in question, perhaps in collaboration with Netflix Games.
In fact, Atlus' idea would be to transform Metaphor: ReFantazio into a real one franchise of large caliber in the style of Persona, expanding the title into various areas and, among these, also collaborating with Netflix for the production of a spin-off.
It is not clear whether this title should be a real video game or a sort of hybrid entertainment developed in collaboration with Netflix, whether it is a new chapter or a mobile game, given that the company is operational on various fronts, but according to the leaker the plan would still be to invest significantly in the franchise.
