Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is the new chapter of the ancient automotive series, which after a postponement could have a exit period more defined by the publisher Nacon, and it could arrive sooner than you think.
That's because Nacon's financial documents place it, in effect, within the first quarter of 2024or by the end of March 2024, at least based on the publisher's current plans, which could be respected given that the game has already encountered a shift from 2023 to this year.
Expected to arrive first in the fourth quarter of 2023, the game was officially postponed to 2024 on the occasion of the announcement of the beta test set last July, but until now it was expected in the first half of the year, so this further clarification tightens the circle around a period closer than expected.
An open world set in Hong Kong
Continuing the style of the most recent chapters of the series, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown offers a large open world freely explorable on board vehicles, similar to what was seen in the famous Forza Horizon series.
The idea of the developers is recreate Hong Kong Island in 1:1 scaleas close as possible to reality, with all the various characteristics in terms of environmental diversity and type of roads that can be found on the island in question.
In the meantime, we have seen gameplay trailer dedicated to Alfa Romeo and another showing upgrades and customizations.
