Open Roads is the new adventure developed by Fullbright and published by Annapurna, two names that have already put everyone at attention for this title, so it will interest many to know that the game has been postponedwith a new one release date announced today, not far away.
Expected for February 22nd, the game has been moved to March 28, 2024apparently to ensure “the most perfected experience possible for players”, as reported by the team to Engadget in announcing this move, therefore due to the desire to further clean up and improve the title before release.
This also means that Open Roads will not be part of 's February lineup Xbox Game Passcontrary to what had been expected, given that it had been announced within next month's mandate for the subscription service, and will instead be part of the March 2024 mandate, apparently.
Something from Gone Home
Probably taking up some themes and atmospheres typical of Gone Home, the title that launched Fullbright on the international scene, Open Roads tells the history of a journey in which Tess Devine and her mother Opal take part once they discover a box of letters and old notes carefully preserved in the attic of the house.
From here emerge allusions to “deeply rooted family secrets, break-ins from decades ago, a lost treasure near the border with Canada”, but not only that, because in what they discover the presence of a much darker secretwhich would be better left alone.
These mysteries dominate the traveling adventure published by Annapurna Interactive, among various more or less common and more or less strange places. Also exceptional castwith the protagonists voiced by Keri Russell (The Americans, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) and Kaitlyn Dever (Revenge of the Losers, Uncharted 4).
