The S10 diesel had a slight drop of 0.6% in the same comparison, with an average price of R$5.94 per liter. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) weighing 13 kilos, or cooking gas, was also practically stable, remaining above R$ 100 on average, registering a cylinder at R$ 100.91 this week against R$ 100.93 in previous week, reported the ANP.

Lag
Gasoline has not been adjusted for more than 90 days in Petrobras refineries, a company responsible for more than 70% of the market, with prices on average 3% below the international market, according to the Brazilian Association of Fuel Importers (Abicom).
Acelen, controller of the Mataripe Refinery, in Bahia, which holds 14% of the country's fuel market, makes weekly adjustments and, even so, the average price of gasoline is 5% below the external prices of the product, against a lag of 3% from Petrobras, with an upward adjustment of around R$0.10 per liter being possible.
In the case of diesel, for 25 days without an adjustment, the average price of all Brazilian refineries is 7% below the international market, the same percentage if only Petrobras refineries are taken into account. To align with international prices, an increase of R$0.26 per liter of fuel in Brazil would be possible.
According to the Brazilian Infrastructure Center (Cbie), only cooking gas is being traded in Brazil above the international market. Gasoline shows a lag of 2.49%; diesel, 5.11% and LPG is being traded at a premium of 0.99% in relation to the Gulf of Mexico, used as a parameter for imports into the country.
