A 40-year-old woman dies after being shot in the middle of the street in Vallecas

A 40-year-old woman died this Monday night after being shot several times on Lago Maracaibo Street, in the Madrid district of Puente de Vallecas, according to sources from the Madrid Emergency Service. Both the authorship and the motivation for this crime are unknown for now.

The event occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. and Samur-Civil Protection paramedics were brought to the scene. Once there, they found the woman with several gunshot wounds to the left hemithorax and already in cardiorespiratory arrest.

Healthcare workers have been performing advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation for a long time. Despite their attempts, they have not been able to reverse the stop and have finally confirmed his death. A psychologist has treated several family members who were present at the scene.

Agents from the DEVI of the Scientific Police, as well as the homicide group VI of the Madrid Police Headquarters, have initiated an investigation to clarify the facts that affect this murder.
