Katz said in the interview: “Regarding the strike in southern Lebanon, we took responsibility, and this is part of our war.”
The Israeli Foreign Minister added: “We target Hezbollah members and the infrastructure and systems they were able to put in place to deter Israel.”
He continued, saying: “We are making Hezbollah pay the price in this war, in which we operate according to specific rules. We did not set our goal to thwart 150,000 missiles. Our goal was to restore security to the residents of the north and south and to the State of Israel.”
Katz, who took office last month, confirmed: “With regard to the damage caused to southern Lebanon, we took responsibility for the assassination of the commander of the Radwan Force. This is part of the war. We are causing harm to Hezbollah and its infrastructure.”
