Stock market, Europe is not shining. Piazza Affari in decline. Spread under 170 points
Weak and declining opening for European stock exchanges on a day with limited trade with the market Tokyo closed for 'senior citizens' day'. TO Frankfurt the Dax dropped +0.06% to 16,603.86 points, in London the FTSE 100 lost 0.37% to 7,661.34 points and in Madrid the Ibex-35 lost 0.21% to 10,143.50 points. In Paris the Cac 40 drops by 0.13% to 7,411.00 points. Uncertain first phases Milan Stock Exchange with the Ftse Mib trimming 0.05% to 30,430 points. Investors look at recently released macro data and await those expected this week to understand the future trajectory of central banks' monetary policy. On the price list, financials are positive with Generali at +0.23%, Mps +1.62%, Intesa +0.52%, Unicredit at +0.21%. Tim retreats by 0.27%. Among industrials, Stellantis loses 0.56%, Pirelli -0.37% and Leonardo -0.80%. As regards the main energy sectors, Eni fell by 1.30% while Enel shaved 0.06%. The spread between 10-year BTPs and German Bunds opens with a live decline at 169.5 points compared to 168 points at the last closing. The yield on the ten-year bond stands at 3.857%, against the previous 3.828%.
