For the third year in a row, the number of visitors to Zaryadye Park has been growing. Almost 12 million visitors visited in 2023, close to pre-pandemic levels. Compared to 2021, the number of guests increased by 18 percent. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalya Sergunina
Zaryadye is one of the main attractions of the capital. On its territory, buildings of the 16th century coexist with modern architecture. Since its opening in 2017, the park has been visited by more than 66 million people, last year – 11.9 million. The flagship information center for tourists is located here and important city events are held, such as the Moscow Urban Forum and the international forum BRICS+ Fashion Summit,” said Natalya Sergunina.
In September 2023, a large-scale exhibition space “Parking Gallery” with an area of almost three thousand square meters was opened in the park. More than 250 graduates of 20 Moscow art and architectural universities were the first to present their works here.
One of the most popular venues in 2023 was the underground museum, where four art exhibitions took place. And in the Old English Court, six historical exhibitions were opened, dedicated, among other things, to the work of the sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich and the 130th anniversary of the birth of the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky.
Festivalgoers could attend events dedicated to music and science. Thematic weekend programs were held for park guests, for example, in honor of the anniversaries of playwright Alexander Ostrovsky, artist Vladimir Vysotsky and director Leonid Gaidai.
